Advanced artists have strong advanced skills and a solid background of education, with a roadmap of continuing advancement through additional training. This artist is a good choice for a client who is interested in more experience at a slightly higher price.

Amber

A graduate of Atelier's Prote'ge' program, Amber is truly dedicated to excellence of her craft.  After 3 years in the industry, Amber decided to create a new foundation for herself by training under Master Artist Karie Bennett, as well as the top stylists at Atelier.

Anastasiya

A graduate of Atelier's Prote'ge' program, Anastasiya has been involved with hair and makeup since childhood.  A fantastic makeup artist, her talent extends to haircolor, and as a certified Aveda haircolorist, she demonstrates her skill everyday. Creative color is a specialty.  She loves Aveda's Glossing Straightener for its ability to add shine and smoothness, and the Light Elements Styling Wax to give great texture and adds some funky style to shorter hair.  She loves her career because it inspires her everyday.  Call 408-244-4222 for your appointment with Anastasiya at our Atelier Studio location.

Jared

Jared is considered a well rounded Artist with a strong foundation and understanding of hair. He loves movement in hair and bringing beautiful changes to his guests; whether it's from a cut a color or both.  His education foundation includes Bumble University in New York, with a focus on razor cutting and styling, as well as a background in the Sassoon precision technique. Jessica

Atelier Certified Coach

Jessica is a San Jose native, and after receiving a Business degree, started her career in hair in New York City where she attended the Carsten Aveda Institute. Jessica joined Atelier in 2007 and was one of the rising stars in our Prote'ge' haircutting program, and is certified in Aveda haircolor.  Jessica has a passion for not just her own education, but the education of our new generation, and is one of Atelier's Prote'ge' coaches.

Her favorite Aveda styling product is the Air Control, because it dries quickly and is environmentally friendly.  A long hair girl herself, she has developed a reputation for also being "long-hair friendly".

She loves her career for the ability to help people look and feel great!

Kaila

As a Santa Cruz native, Kaila is definitely in tune with the green effect that Aveda has to offer.  "Aveda attracted me because of the inspiration it draws from the environment”, Kaila says, “I love being a part of the Atelier team and the Aveda world”.

Having personally trained under Atelier Master Artist Karie Bennett, and a graduate of Atelier's Prote'ge' program, Kaila has an exceptional touch when it comes to treating her guests like royalty.  She is known for her precision work, her unbelievable shampoo experiences, and her impeccable client care!  She is certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment and Platinum Seamless Extensions.

Kim

Kim joined Atelier in 2007 and brings a happy energy to the team.  A bridal hair specialist, Kim loves to do special occasion hair for weddings, proms, and just a wonderful night out.  Just watch the big smile on her face as she does amazing things with bobby pins! She is on the Atelier creative team, and is a fashion show team favorite. 

Kim loves Aveda's Glossing Straightener because it makes hair feel amazing.

Kristen

Kristen has a passion for her craft.  She has great classic skills, but can bring her wild child out to do some funky hair if you ask!  She joined Atelier in 2004, and is a graduate of the Atelier Protégé program, a member of the Atelier creative team, and has participated in many of Atelier's fashion shows.  She is certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment and Platinum Seamless Extensions.

Kristen's favorite Aveda styling product is the Air Control, for its amazing aroma, flexible hold, and its fantastic hold.  She loves her career because she gets to be creative and loves to be around happy people like herself.
