Senior Artist

Senior level artists possess an extremely high level of education and have extensive industry experience. This level also contains Atelier Coaches who have completed Aveda's Coach training, through a sponsorship by Atelier.

This level offers creative, new concepts as well as industry classics, such as precision cutting and is best for clients who want a very high level of education and experience, and who understand the value of this proficiency.  These artists are in high demand, please call ahead.

Julie

In 1998 Julie received her cosmetology license and started her hair career.  Although she is a whiz at all types of haircut techniques, Julie loves highlighting because provides her the opportunity to be excited about every strand of hair, even down to customizing per foil to give her absolute control of the outcome.  Julie has also developed a highly trained coloring and cutting method that is efficient as well as precise.  Julie LOVES the Aveda haircolor line for its ability to make the hair shiny and healthy, and the Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion is her favorite for the way it creates effortless volume.

Lan

Atelier Certified Coach

Lan has been an accomplished hair artist behind the chair since 1998.  Her advanced training in both scissor and razor cutting, and her path of education through intensive courses with Bumble and Bumble NY and Vidal Sassoon SF make her a well-rounded artist. She embraces all styles of cutting, but still finds that precision cuts last longer and create a longer lasting shape.  As one of Atelier's Coaches, she is passionate about helping a new generation of artists find their way to success as well.

The Volumizing Tonic is one of her favorite Aveda styling products for its beautiful aroma and how it creates touchable volume in the hair.

Natalia

Atelier Creative Director

Natalia has the unique ability to work within your comfort zone, or she can pull from her imaginative use of her advanced training.

Are you looking for something new?  Want to start the trends instead of follow them?  Natalia has a confident eye towards what is fabulous for each guest.   Her passion for continued education guarantees the newest techniques and ideas coming from her chair.  Her favorite Aveda styling product is...All of them!  So many to choose from, and her work as Atelier's lead stylist on photo shoots and fashion shows means she gets to use the full range of Aveda.  She loves her career because she can express her creativity to the fullest, and she creates a positive effect on people's lives.

Nancy

Nancy is one of the very talented graduates of Atelier's Prote'ge' program, and has been with Atelier since 2004.  She's very gifted with multi-cultural and textured hair. She does an excellent job of melding traditional style with modern techniques. She is an expert in CHI thermal straightening, as well as the CHI Quick Smooth system.

Her favorite Aveda styling product is the Brilliant Humectant Pomade, which adds shine and defines curl.  She loves her career because she loves making people feel great through beautiful hair.

Dan

Dan is a graduate of Atelier's Prote'ge' program, having joined Atelier in 2004.  Over the past 4 years, she’s honed her skills with a meticulous attention to detail, an artistic eye and a dedication to superior customer service. She is an expert in Aveda's botanical-based haircolor.  She says her favorite Aveda styling product is Air Control hairspray--"Who doesn't love volume and lift?"

She loves her career because: "I can change a person's outlook on life and their image through a haircut."

Jaimee

Jaimee’s creative spirit sparked as an abstract painter, and that spirit grew into an interest in hair and makeup after she graduated the University of Hawaii with her BA in Economics and History.  After receiving her California cosmetology license in 2004, she continued additional intensive training at Toni&Guy in London for hair, and Make Up Forever in Paris.  In addition to her advanced training, she received her certified cosmetology instructor certificate in 2006.
